Affiliate disclosure

In line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides, here is exactly how commercial links work on this site.

The short version

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only list gear that fits the lunches we recommend.

Which links are affiliate links

Links on the Gear page and in “gear picks” on parent screens point to Amazon.com. When an affiliate tag is configured for this site, those links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. When no tag is configured, the very same links are plain retailer links, the page labels them “non-affiliate link”, and we earn nothing.

Nothing else on the site is sponsored. Food suggestions, lunch plans and shopping lists never contain commercial links and are never influenced by gear.

How we choose gear

  • Only generic, non-branded products that fit the lunches we actually plan: bento boxes, bottles, cutters, picks, dip cups, ice packs.
  • At most two contextual suggestions per parent screen, always next to a disclosure.
  • Price bands are approximate and informational; the retailer sets the real price.
  • Children never see commerce. Gear appears on parent surfaces only.

Creators

Creators in our referral programme are compensated for families they refer. They must disclose that relationship in their content (for example #ad or #sponsored) per FTC guidance, and may not make health, weight or “allergen-free” claims.
